Introducing Smart CLI Select - An Effective Way to Improve your ASR

With everything that has been going on in the world of VoIP telecom, maintaining a healthy ASR has become a challenge. While ConnexCS already offered ASR+, it only improved ASR concerning the call delivery stage.
We aim to change that with our new feature and give you the ability to improve ASR from the call initiation stage as well.
Before we introduce you to this new feature, let’s understand what forms the basis behind the working of our new feature!
Humans and Pattern Recognition
Several scientific studies have concluded that humans tend to deduce meaning from patterns or connections that they observe around them.
What this means for VoIP providers is that there is a chance that humans might be more inclined to answer a call from a particular phone number compared to others.
While there hasn’t been any scientific study that can confirm this phenomenon, there have been enough observations in operations to back up the claim. This means some CLIs will experience a higher ASR compared to others.
Now, we cannot say for sure which numbers will make up these golden CLIs. I mean, imagine having a set of golden CLIs which when used, always end up in an answered call. Sounds magical right? Well, we aren't quite there yet.
The closest we can take you to achieve that is with our new feature. Let’s jump straight into it!
Introducing Smart CLI Select
Smart CLI Select analyzes ASRs for each of the CLIs in your inventory. The analysis reveals the CLIs that exhibit higher than normal ASR. These CLIs are selected and calls are originated using these CLIs in rotation.
In practice, this approach results in a significant improvement in your overall ASR. This feature shall help you overcome a lot of operational obstacles, meet SLA requirements, reduce costs and improve call completion and profit margins.
